Programme Leader at National Institute For Medical Research

Applications are invited for a Programme Leader position on the Institute's Scientific Staff to lead a new research group in the Division of Stem Cell Biology and Developmental Genetics. The ideal candidate will establish and run a laboratory that will carry out studies of cell cycle control and the mechanisms that contribute to the maintenance of genome stability in lower and higher eukaryotes, combining cell biology, genetics and interdisciplinary research approaches.

Applicants must have demonstrated an ability to direct an independent programme of research and to be a team leader. They must have a history of carrying out high quality research and should have an interactive personality, with a willingness to contribute to the research and training environment of the Institute.

Salary will be commensurate with the seniority and experience of the successful candidate, and will be at the appropriate level on the Council's pay structure.
